Viva Electric Jets concluded a highly successful participation in the Finnboat Lakeland Floating Show 2026 on Lake Päijänne, where international boating journalists, industry professionals, and boating enthusiasts had the opportunity to experience the company’s electric Multi-Purpose Vessel (eMPV) concept in its natural environment.

The Finnboat Lakeland Floating Show is one of the most important international boat testing events in Finland, bringing together domestic boat manufacturers and international marine media for hands-on testing and evaluation of the latest innovations on the water. This year's event took place across the Päijänne region, showcasing Finnish marine technology to visitors and journalists from several countries.

Though Viva had a proto type present, journalists were particularly interested in Viva's unique eMPV concept, which combines the agility of a personal watercraft with the stability, carrying capacity, and versatility of a much wider platform. The electric propulsion system, silent operation, and multi-use capabilities generated lively discussions about the future of sustainable boating. Media response was highly encouraging. Journalists highlighted the vessel's stability, practical design, and quiet operation. 

The company's demonstrations were supported by EV Mobile, whose mobile charging solutions enabled continuous test operations throughout the event. Together, the companies demonstrated how electric mobility on water can operate efficiently even in locations where fixed charging infrastructure may be limited.

The participation further strengthened Viva Electric Jets' position as one of Finland's most innovative emerging marine technology companies. Viva is different.

The Finnboat Lakeland Floating Show once again demonstrated why Finland remains as a global leader in innovative boating technology, and for Viva Electric Jets the event marked another important milestone on it’s journey.

Finnish clean technology pioneers Viva Electric Jets and EV Mobile will jointly participate in the Lakeland Floating 2026 event, organized by Finnboat in the Lake Päijänne region next week.

During the event, visitors and media representatives will have the opportunity to experience Viva Electric Jets’ innovative eMPV (electric Multi-Purpose Vessel), a fully electric vessel designed to provide a silent, emission-free, and sustainable alternative for waterborne transport. The company’s mission is to transform mobility on water by combining performance, comfort, and environmental responsibility.

EV Mobile will support the demonstrations by providing mobile energy and charging solutions between test runs. The company specializes in flexible energy infrastructure and battery-buffered fast-charging systems, enabling reliable electric mobility even in locations where grid capacity may be limited.

The collaboration is nothing new to these two companies, as last summer was highly successful regarding their collaboration. Now, Lakeland Floating 2026 offers an ideal platform to showcase the future of sustainable transportation and recreational boating in real operating conditions for international media representatives.

Budapest Boat Show 19–22.2.2026

The Road Trip started in Budapest, where we participated in the Budapest Boat Show with our dealer Viking Yacht Club. The event attracted a lot of interest, and after the fair we organized two days of test drives for potential customers.

• During the test days, approximately 15 test drives were conducted per day
• The tests were conducted on a single charge
• Customer feedback was exceptionally positive, and we expect several new orders

Nice Boating Tomorrow, Nice 19–22 March 2026

The Road Trip continues to the French Riviera for the Nice Boating Tomorrow event. Viva will be on display at the pier and available for test drives throughout the event. The event is supported by a targeted marketing campaign running on Meta’s channels, reaching boating enthusiasts in the region.

Poland – cooperation with Wave Boat Poland

After Nice, Viva will travel to Poland for a marketing event organized by our dealer Wave Boat Poland. There, too, potential customers will be able to experience Viva’s performance in practice.

Tests in Finland

The Road Trip will end in early April, when Viva will return to Finland to continue testing and test drives with the Finnish Defence Forces' special forces.

The Viva Jets roadtrip continues to Nice, French Riviera, where we will be participating in the Nice Boating Tomorrow event 19.-22.3. We warmly invite everyone interested in the future of electric boating to come and visit us.

Mikkeli, Finland

We are pleased to announce that the Viva team with its partners is leaving on a European roadtrip in February. The aim is to showcase our electric multipurpose vessel (eMPV) and give test drive possibilities to those interested.

The first road trip stop is at the Budapest Boat Show 19.-22.2 in partnership with Wiking Yacht Club, marking the official start of Viva’s spring road trip across Europe.

The Budapest Boat Show represents an important early-season meeting point for boating enthusiasts, industry professionals, and future partners in Central Europe, especially in the electric marina world. Together with Wiking Yacht Club, Viva will present its eMPV concept, designed to offer a larger, more stable, and highly flexible electric working platform directly on the water. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the vessel up close and discuss its wide range of applications, from professional use to leisure and transport.

For those truly interested, test run possibilities are organised after the exhibition.

Following Hungary, Viva will continue visiting several key locations across Europe to meet customers, resellers, and stakeholders, while increasing awareness of our electric water mobility solutions. These visits will include boat shows, demo events, and targeted meetings, supporting Viva’s preparations for its first delivery year. We’ll announce our next stops soon.

Mass manufacturing will begin in Mikkeli, Finland this year, with preparations underway to produce around 200 electric personal watercrafts during 2026. Viva’s goal is to become the world’s leading manufacturer – one step at a time.

Exclusive Test Drives in Helsinki – Featured Formula 1 legend Mika Salo

Ahead of the official international launch at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, Viva hosted an invite-only event in Helsinki on July 29–30, 2025. The event featured the Viva 2.0 model, along with an opportunity for a test drive and direct interaction with the Viva team. Adding excitement to the occasion, Finnish motorsport legend Mika Salo attendanded the event and was extremely pleased with it.
